Fast-rising London band oreglo have teamed up with singer-songwriter Bel Cobain to release the fantastic new single, ‘comet’. This track shows the band at their most mellow, with their usual melting pot of genres being replaced by a relaxed, modern reggae sound. Laid-back drums drift along beneath a tapestry of reverb-laden synths, choppy guitar chords and suave bass lines. On the collaboration, Bel Cobain says: “It was lovely working with the boys, especially after having them open for me at the London show. They’re so talented. Their sound is very nostalgic and took me back to a familiar time, that I could easily write from.” The track is taken from the quartet’s upcoming EP, Not Real People, which is due to be released on July 5th, 2024. -Dan Peeke
